Ferro silicon is made of coke,steel shavings,quartz (or silica) as raw materials and is smelted in electric furnace,an alloy product mailnly includes Silicon and Iron elements.Since ferrosilicon shows good chemical properties in production steel and iron,it is widely used in many industries.Brightalloys is one of best ferro silicon suppliers from China.
It is used as inoculant and nodularizing agent in cast iron industry,in the production of nodular cast iron,75% ferrosilicon is a very important inoculant (helping to precipitate graphite) and nodularizing agent.
